Diplomas for graduates from ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app Free Academy's Class of 2024 (all campuses) will be available for pick up starting next week (July 29, 2024).

We are excited to invite you and your child to our Sixth (6) Grade Orientation, which will be a two-day event held on Thursday, August 29th and Friday, August 30th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heritage ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app School.

Join us for fun and engaging learning activities to jumpstart your scholar’s school readiness. Meet NECSD school-building leaders and community partners. There will be fun giveaways and learning tools!

The event will be held on Saturday, August 10th from 11am - 3pm at the Board of Education (124 Grand Street). The backpack and school supply giveaway is for NECSD ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app only and will be distributed while supplies last.

What began as a cursory look at ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app’s history in 5th grade library classes, evolved into deep historical dives. Scholars' efforts were bolstered by strong partnerships, culminating in some impressive research.

Many HOH scholars enthusiastically joined our Library Poetry Club and had been anticipating a chance (like those last school year), to enter the International Book Creator Poetry Contest.

As you know, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app Free Academy will be restructuring to use a House model this fall. As we develop the respective Houses, we would like student input in naming those houses.

The New York State Department of Health collects information about seasonal cooling centers from local health departments and emergency management offices.

ESYP for ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app who have been identified as requiring credit recovery toward graduation and or requiring participation in a Regents Exam in August will begin this Monday, July 15 through Friday, August 9th.

This initiative, made possible through the MBK/GEAR Up and Learning Loss grants, marks the first time every student in the district has been provided with books to encourage summer reading.

Students in Mrs. Garcia's class partnered with Storm King Art Center in a year-long project. To conclude their studies, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app held a space day where they presented all of their work from throughout the school year and unveiled their piece of art!

Scholars spent the school year partnering with a selected group of ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app from Horizons-on-the-Hudson Elementary School learning about some of the local heroes of our community.
